Good evening all who have popped over to say hi! IMAGINE ! {if}

Photobucket

OK!, this is what I've been working on for the last 3 days...it's my submission for Mandy Collins' Tattered Angels challenge at Scrapping Outback...Whimsy & mystical…that’s what ‘Tattered Angels” GM reminds me of, hence this (outside my comfort zone) ‘ multicoloured, textured’ creation!!! The photo of my son Robin, princess grandaughter, Shyla is 3D’d with Scrap Dots. I used serviettes and Modge Podge for the base. I did try to mask but it just didn’t work well for me (see that’s a masked butterfly top right corner LOL). I covered the base in Glimmer Mist (colours I used are: Cranberry Zing (butterfly), Key Lime Pie (grass and leaves), Golden Terracotta (bird house and some background) and Glacier (has turned out much more subtle than I planned!); and here are a few close ups too...enjoy and laugh !!!
Thanks for looking everyone :)
post script: Tuesday 27 July...http://www.scrappingoutback.com.au/ has announced that I won! OMG I'm just SO excited....I've won the challenge and a huge prize which has just made my day, my week, and my month LOL THANKS SO MUCH to Scrapping Outback and Mandy Collins and all the sponsors :)

Photos are of my son and his beautiful daughters (my princess GD’s) when I visited them in NZ October 2009. Journal tag reads: I love that before they go to bed, the girls love to pretend to be a beauty consultant to their Daddy LOL”. I just love that Robin is a fabulous Daddy and loves his girls to bits - TFL :)

Bloom where you are planted

Today I thought i'd share my 'white with one' submission for June at Scrapping Outback...criteria is that you have to do everything in the colour + white, specified at the beginning of the month. June was white.
“Bloom where you are planted” (Proverb)…LO is of me age 2 yrs, one of the few pics to be found of my late maternal Grandma’s beautiful flourishing garden – always full of flowers, fruit and vegies.  I loved the challenge of white with white...thanks for taking the time to look :)

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
