special moments OF Wonderland
Here's my first submission for the "Alice in Wonderland" Cyber Crop at Deb's Creations...I think I've got all the criteria...1 piece of cardstock, 2 pieces of patterned paper (not square), pearls, 10 flowers, at least 1 stamped image and bling...you may be able to see that I have tried to used 'subdued' pps and embellies as the photos are just so bright :) I have used a butterfly stamp by (c)the artful stamper, and added 3 shrinky dinks using the same stamp; pearls, (at least) 10 flowers and loads of bling. Can you spot the birds on the lamp post and/or the 4 bunnies? they are included in the close-ups below. This photo was taken on a recent trip to NZ to see my beautiful, precious Grandaughters and we had a special time (dreaming of ) Wonderland :) Thanks for looking :)

Breathtaking
This is my final LO for the Twilight challenge...the words say "We gave the keys to our hearts 8th December 2001" This was a most 'Breathtaking' day. For those who havent heard our wedding theme was "Biggles gets married". (that's a story for another day ) For the lamp post I used Blackberry Croco and white paint. I've also added Glimmer Mist and flowers throught the LO. Unfortunatly not the best photos taken at 9.30pm LOL but I've added a few close ups Enjoy and TFL :)

SPARKLE
(you dont need to be a super model to) SPARKLE...another Twilight LO. Challenge from ScarppingOutback...close ups are beneath. The criteria of the challenge as follows: 1. What happens to Edwards skin when he steps into the daylight? Use this as an element on your page. 2. The vampires have a particular look to them. They are often described to look like? S_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ . Use this as inspiration to take a self portrait to use on your layout. 3. Fans of the Twilight series are often described as T_ _ _ _ _ _ _. Is this you? Use your answer as the central theme of your layout. Finally, a design tip. When working with colour combinations, painters and designers often us a rule called 60/30/10 This means that your project should use 60% of a main colour, 30% of a secondary colour, and just 10% of a third used as an accent.
4. In your layout, stick to the Twilight colours of red, black and white only, but use the following code to determine your combination. If Edward is white, Jacob is black and Bella is red... rate the 3 in your order of preference, then match up the colours and percentages.
I must admit this LO turned out better than i'd thought it would-mainly because i'm not really into Twilight (the movie) anyways hopefully you can tell of the 3 characters - I like Bella the best, because if I had such difficult choices to make, I'd hope i'd 'stick up for what is right' as she does. In addition, I like Jacob out of the 2 blokes the best. The black chippie "looks like" its gone kind of 'green' due to the opalescent embossing powder on top...TFL :)

Yesteryears
I've just finished this LO for a couple of challenges...Believe it or not this cardstock was cream before i started !! I've used Glimmer Mist and a Tim Holtz Mask...I've chosen to scrap this photo sent to be recently by my second cousin...its my maternal grandfather's family and his siblings and their spouses. Not sure of the year - but i have included an old NZ coin with King George VI..(dont be cheeky - that was well before MY time LOL)...I've used the A2Z chip board and trialed some crackle medium - I didn't like the gold embossing powder so I used some "antique" 'rub n buff' found in Bunnings on the c/b and on the lock/heart. That's a gorgeous Prima flower I've been 'saving' for a special LO. enjoy. Thanks for looking :)

My fairy
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
