So Adorable

THIRD & FINAL post for today!!!

This LO is for the following 2 challenges (not in any specific order):
I've actually rotated the sketch to the left. The gorgeous pps are from the 'Lila House' range by Fancy Pants Designs. The ribbon is threaded through the edge punch.. The girls on the left are my nieces and the beautiful 'pink' adorable on the right is my grandaughter  - all adoring each other LOL  Tfl & happy scrappin' all. Have a great week ahead. {Mwah} Mazz         xxxxxxxxx

Brekky at Macca's

SECOND POST today !! I've created this LO for the January sketch challenge over at Impressive Stamps Australia (ISA); as well as sketch #68 over at Lets Capture These Sketches!!!The photos were taken by Ian back in May 2005 when my grandaughter Paige came to visit.  That morning we decided to go to macca's in Beenleigh. Of course Paige had a wonderful time just looking around and enjoying sitting with 'Ronald'. Ive used the "Me Likey" range of Sassafras pps, chipboard alphas and felts. The stamped image at the bottom of the LO is a flourish from ISA. I've also used fabric flowers, lace and a border punch for the frilly bottom LOL.  The c/b ice cream was designed by Rachelle Minett at Scrapping Outback. I've used 'white puff' embossing powder for the ice cream and 'red sparkle fluff' for the cherry on top!! Here are some close-ups. TFL & happy scrappin' all :)

CUTE AS A BUTTON

(happy) cute as a button (boy)
Good evening, firstly my apologies for being MIA and for my forthcoming "erratic" posting...my own computer has gone "POOF" for want of another word and I'm having to use my darling hubby Ian's laptop. I'm not quite sure what's gonna happen - possibly I'll have to get used to this one and he will get a brand new one...and that's fine, but until I do get my own, please bear with me I might be missing alot or a little - depending on how kind Ian is when he gets home from work LOL..meantime you may remember earlier in January, I created a LO of a childhood memory for challenge#10 on The Boxx? I was so surprised that the members in the group voted me to win the challenge; and so I then got to set  challenge#11!! {insert wicked laugh here}> I decided on my favourite kind of challenge, a Recipe Challenge :) The ingredients (for baking the LO) are as follows:
  • more than 1 photo - I've used 3.
  • use yellow in the LO somewhere - I've used yellow all over :)
  • stitching (machine, hand or faux) - I've stitched inside the 'road markings' on the right hand pp.
  • star/s - no trouble spotting those LOL
  • a circle - button circles
  • at elast 1 brad or eyelet - eyelets to hold in the raffia on the left hand side (under the title)
  • at least 1 piece of ribbon, lace, twine or fabric -there's raffia left hand side of LO
  • any (rubber) stamped image or word on the LO - I've used a Kaszazz journal block stamp
  • hand written journalling - inside the journal block stamp
  • a title with more than 1 word - my title is 4 words
  • have fun!!  yep heaps of fun creating this one using more Echo Park pps ('Little Boy' & 'Walk in the Park' ranges)
  • the LO needs to be uploaded into the thread by mid-night on Sunday February 6th (Aust, Brisbane time) 2011..so why dont YOU YOU come & have a play too !!! here are some close ups ! happy scrappin all :)

'From small beginnings come great things' (Proverb)

Good afternoon everyone...I'm so pleased to be able to share this LO with you today...its such a blue sky and the sun is shining, one of the best we've had in weeks, just perfect for Australia Day tomorrow 26th January)...I've created this LO for 2 challenges:

I seem to be using Echo Park quite a bit these days and its certainly one of my faves at the moment - along with all the 'hand made' goodies, which I love because of the gorgeous embellies, they're Ozzy and because I'm supporting some of my fave scrapping artists too :)     So without further ado, there are close-ups below and supplies I've used are: Bazzill Card stock;  Alphas & pp Echo Park (Sweet Summertime); Doyly by Marg; Queen & Co felt; Rusty Pickle buttons; Adornit little alphas; I handmade the dotty flowers, stems and the bow from  fabric in the kit, Jules made the floral buttons in the flower centers; animal buttons are handmade by Purple Pumpkin and the bear button unknown. TFL, have a great week {mwah}

"OUR Fountain of love"

Our Fountain of LOVE
Good evening all, I have to say that I did lose my 'mojo' for a week or so...I honestly don't know what happened, although  I have had some pretty full on days with my  baby munchkins, and of course follow up paper work to tend to. I've also been trying to promote my business so that I can continue into 2011...Anyways, I attended a class, taught by my friend Geli at Stampers & Scrapbookers Wonderland last week which somehow has provided me some fresh inspiration...yay!  I completed this LO today while Ian, DH, was out attempting (too windy really) to fly his model helicopter.  I am submitting this into the following 3 challenges (as usual in no particular order and there are some close ups below)...
January sketch at The BOXX
  •  Show Us Your Stuff January Challenge #2 - requirements:
            • Stitching -(you will see my "kiss" cross stitches on the right
            • Misting - I have used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist
            • Buttons - blue & pink
            • 4 or more patterned paper - please see supplies below
            • Something handmade!! - I crocheted the silver doily/flower; the silver (clay) bird on the right was handmade by my friend Jules
The picture was taken when Ian & I had been going out only about 6 months and I had won a mystery trip for two. We ended up in the beautiful city of Christchurch (NZ). We are sitting in front of the Christchurch fountain just after sunset and it was so romantic. I realise its not a great photo but it sure is a great memory.  Supplies used: Cardstock: Bazzill; pps: Crate Paper (Season collection: friendly & love, Fancy Pants: Lovebirds (two sides of Strips), heart lace pp; masking with Glimmer Mist (Cranberry Zing & Juniper); cuttlebug hearts; silver wool, Heidi Grace hat pins; Making Memories scrapbook stitches; buttons; alphas: Fancy Pants, Echo Park and Adornit; adhesives: Magic mount, Pritt gel, Helmar glue & scrapdots...TFL all xxx

Good morning all, I hope you're all high and dry this morning and enjoying our (almost) cloud free sky :) I've been watching the TV and wondering howcan possibly help the Brisbane disaster and I have found out about  "Heart Cards" and have decided this is a GREAT cause and a simple way for me to assist. so please support the Queensland disaster please either follow the link on this post OR the one on my sidebar. Alternately you may wish to donate financially online here. Many Thanks :)
Today I'm sharing a LO for the following challenges (in no particular preffered order) :The pics are of some friends, members of non-denominational WATAC (Women And The Australian Church) that I met with on a regular basis over the past couple of years. These are the ladies having heaps of laughs along with yummy food and wine at the Advent Christmas luncheon in December. This was the only photo of Christmas photo for 2010 that I managed to be in...if you don't know which one I am, you'll just have to guess from the colours I'm wearing LOL. Supplies used: Cardstock: Bazzill; pps: Bo-Bunny (Sophie) and paper doily; flowers, buttons & butterfly: Prima and Purple Pumkin and unknown; bottlecap: Lil' Red Rocket. I do hope you all have a great weekend ahead. I've decided to go meet some cyber buddies from Mad About Scrapping tonight for the first time so I'm sure to have some fun to share soon - TFL everyone:) :)

Amanda's January Swap

click the middle of the picture for larger view
My apologies for being MIA the last few days...I've been concentrating on promoting Mazz's Munchkins. I think I've done as much as I can now as far as 'marketing' goes, without spending any more $$$. In addition we've been watching the TV as Queensland flood devastation unfolds only a few k's away from our home. So far we are fortunate in that we have not directly been affected by water physically. However it is overwhelming and quite emotional for me, as I know friends and colleagues that have been.  Ian is trying to work from home, having accessed the business files before the CBD power was cut off at 7am this morning. Our hearts and prayers are going out to the families and loved ones of the victims. Meanwhile, I have managed to get the tags and ATC's done for Amanda's Scrap Swaps this month, the theme being Nursery Rhymes. You will see from the picc, I have chosen "Mary Had a Little Lamb", "Mary Mary Quite Contrary" and "Little Jack Horner"... enjoy...and 'keep safe everyone' hugs, Mz

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
