memories of 1967

Ever since I received these photos (which my DH’s bother found for his 40th birthday) I have wanted to create a LO.  The photo is of my DH (the baby in nappies) and his sister and brothers.  So when Scrapping Outback announced their White with a Twist this month (green, black and a touch of gold) these are the authentic black & white photos I picked.  I was inspired by Sketch#172   over at Creative Scrappers for the LO and Bird is the Word’s challenge word for August 28 is MEMORY (or a variation of the word, such as Memories) so I have used memories for my title.    In addition, I’ve entered this LO into the challenge#26 over at Southern Girls Challenge “Through the Decades” as well as my newly discovered challenge site…Out of the Hat September challenge: Use something handmade (I made the 3 black ‘lunchbox’ flowers thanks to Samantha Hauzer); include a heart – the heart key hole in the cluster (made by my friend Julie Hill, available at SO.); Chipboard – I’ve used Dusty Attic and Basic Grey alpha chippies in the title.  Other products used: pps: MME (Lush, green) and  Kaszzaz (striped); Tattered Angels GM (Key Lime Pie); Flourish with a Bling (Jasmine, Gold); MME brad; Kaiser stamp (cloud); flowers, doily,; gold embossing powder; ink (versacolor & versamark).  So until next time….happy scrappin’ all {hugs}                Mazz

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
