My LOVE for YOU is....

...IMMEASURABLE xxx ...
This will be my last post for 2011...oh what a year! So much water under the bridge and loads of memories – still to be scrapped of course!

This LO was another created for the ScrapLounge comp. (Christmas LO using non-traditional colours) and I'm also submitting for The Show Us Your Stuff Challenge One sketch December.

The photo was taken for Christmas 2007 of my adorable little granddaughters (age then 3.5 and 11 months)...the title naturally is self-explanatory :)

The beautiful large golden flower was hand made by the talented Jeanelle @ TLC Crafts. Other supplies used: pps: Authentique, Kaiser and Delish; lace, charms from My2Angels, Rusty Pickle alpha stickers.

Well, every one...I do hope you all have a very happy, peaceful, bright and SAFE new year and a wonderful new start for those who wish so …. hearts'n'hugs always  Mazz xxx

'tis the season for....

...BLUE Swimmers....
Another LO created for the ScrapLounge comp…something uniquely Ozzy J  I’m also submitting for sketch#188 over at Creative Scrappers.

…believe it or not we went crab-pot fishing on Christmas day 2005 at Broom’s Head, NSW …yep those were the blue swimmers (crabs) we caught and ate for Christmas dinner:) I caught brim (fish) the day before but that's another story LOL

 I've used Scrapware crab chippies;

Kaszzaz and Webster’s pps; onion bags for the net; Kaisers c/b alphas; Scrapping Outback Utee and My2Angels Rhinestone ribbon.

Well, I've just received a text from DH to say ‘the wind’s come up at the field’ so he’s on his way home…guess I’ll have to stop playing now L
Stay safe everyone and …HAPPY 2012 … xxx Mazz

Time Goes By - celebrating 50 years...

50 Golden years
I really wanted to share this LO next....

I created this LO at the last class of the year at Scrapping Outback and I'm truly amazed at the versatile techniques (used together they are just gorgeous !!) the talented Rachelle showed in this one LO.

I've used 2 different Glimmer Mists, 2 different masks and 2 different stamps :) The photos are of my parents - 50 years married (1961 to 2011) when our family celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Sept this year.

We're still in holiday mode here at our place, off work for another 8 days, the sun is shining on and off...DH just went for a 'sneak' flight of his model airplane, on his way home now we're off to brekkie and coffee...possibly get on to the 'spring' cleaning today...hope to share some more before 2011 is over...STAY SAFE all {hugs} Mazz

SO…this is (our) Christmas

My DH and I have just had the most amazing, relaxing holiday ever!!! Oh yes we go on our mini vacations, and yes we’ve been to New Zealand three times this year, oh and we went to Thailand in 2008…but honestly you have to go Dorrigo, NSW and surrounds, to really understand how to ‘seriously’ RELAX… I just love this photo and I was inspired to take on the Scrap That Song (Christmas theme) challenge this morning and this is what I’ve come up with.

The photo was taken (by a charming young Dutch exchange student from Griffith Gold Coast) right in front of the Crystal Shower Falls, on the Dorrigo National Park’s ‘Wonga Walk’ at the Rainforest Centre.  The day we walked the track, was overcast, with cloud and mist so low we felt like we were walking in the clouds!! Of course the waterfalls, as you can see, were playing beautifully too.
Actually we saw some of the best waterfalls we’ve seen in Australia in Dorrigo, so it definitely a must do.   I’ve ‘lifted’ (with permission of course!) the design for the LO from my cyber friend Marg Oliver…I just couldn’t resist the big ribbon and bow  friends  LOL

Does anyone out there recognise those lovely handmade brown/green & pearled flowers?  I honestly cant remember where I got them, so sorry I cant give credit for those.

The pps are from Authentique and Simple Stories from My2Angels – all else from you stash …SO…this is our Christmas and I sincerely hope you’re having as much fun and relaxation over your Christmas season …please STAY SAFE,  {hearts'n'hugs} Mazz

Bros - 1994

As you've probably seen from previous posts I have been busy with "12 days of Christmas" comp. over at the Scrap Lounge....The challenge was to use a monocramatic (white) with black & white photo/s so this is what I've come up with...I thought I'd share this LO first...because this one I also created for the Purple Pumpkin December sketch...with which I've turned the circle into a heart :)

I'm not at all happy with the photo because it looks "pink"! But I can promise you it is all white LOL (my boys wont be happy with the pink either!) I've used corrugated cardboard for the base, covered most the c/b in Tim's distress crackle paint (picket fence), Prima flowers, mesh & muslin die cut from My2Angels, brad, Bazzill and tiny bit of KindyGlitz (Crystalina)......thanks for looking :)

Here's wishing you all a wonderful weekend of Christmas shopping and parties LOL

Puriri Bay

As promised to share, here is the second LO I've created at one of Geli's home classes a couple of Thursday nights ago...the photo is of the glorious Puriri Bay, far north, NZ....where we camped along side DS & family during Christmas 2009. Wowzers its just beautiful and so much to see and do... of course we had a fabulous time, albeit a bit short....The pp is Making Memories and the butterflies are made from Cuttle Bug dies and covered in Glimmer Mist...
how clever and creative Geli is at coming up with such amazing inspiration!!! Eleven of us had a fabulous day at Geli's home yesterday making Christmas cards, and if you pop over to her blog you'll see a sneak preview of the ones we created....Hopefully I will be able to photograph and post some of my LO's from the Scrap Lounge comp soon too....Well, have a great week ahead everyone, dont stress over the businesss if that's possible LOL...  {hugs 'n' hearts} Mazz xxx

sweet BUTTON NOSE boy

...Yes I can believe its a long time since I've posted here...not only have I been busy with "12 days of Christmas" over at Scrap Lounge....I'm currently off work with a kidney infection (ouch!!) and a sty in my eye (how inconvenient LOL)...BUT "the show must go on" as they say...and as I'm not allowed to publish any of my creations for 12 days until 12 Dec (when the winners have been announced)...I thought I'd share a couple of LO's that I have recently created at Geli's home classes...This one is of my adorable grandson, Levi, at age 10 months. And yes he has (unfortunatly?) inherited 'my' button nose, which I think comes from my paternal Grandma and the Worthington family.  I have used some Echo park pps and alphas from my stash, twine and the blue/silver fabric shape is from Eye Candy Magic.  Well, thats all for now...will try and get the other LO uploaded soon...Hoping you're all having a great week, {hearts 'n' hugs}  Mazz xxx

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
