Isn't She Lovely...

"Isn't She Lovely"
HUGE GINORMOUS HELLO!!! to all my friends !!!
I realise I've been MIA for a while now - there's just been SO much going on in life - there just never seems to be enough time for crafting - let-alone-Scrapping and blogging, I'm afraid to say has certainly taken a 'back seat' lately :(
I do have 2 pieces of news to share... First and foremost is that I have secured an admin role for work until 31st December - so that means I should have just a wee bit of 'c-ash' to afford to upkeep my hobby LOL.  The second piece of news is that , not 1, but 2 of my layouts have been accepted by an Australian scrapbooking magazine for publication later this year.  I'm totally thrilled, and just a bit excited too.  Once published I will be able to share the layouts, and closies with you all.
Sooo....,here I am, back to scrap Yahoo :)   and.... I've set a goal to blog at least once a week - for the next 12 weeks - at least until the Amazing Race over at Scrapbooking Top 50 is finished...coz I'm entering and I've set myself the challenge to complete at least 1 layout a week....all my fingers and toes are crossed that I will have the time management skill to be able to fit all in :)
Well enough of that...this LO is of my elder DGD, radiant smiling face that she has.  I was inspired firstly by this month's RECIPE challenge over at Purple Pumpkin...as well as by the August sketch over at Sketches With A Twist:

And since it was 'open' song/title over at Scrap That Song...I decided this song fitted Paige just beautifully.  This is one of my favourite Stevie Wonder songs.

Materials:
Basic Grey (fussy cutting) & Kaszazz (background) pps; Mont Marte gold acrylic paint; 2 Purple Pumpkin buttons; twine (top right); Crafter's Workshop templates; Glimmer Mist (black cherry); Tim Holtz distress ink (victorian velvet); Top Boss tinted ink; Stampendous shabby pink embossing powder;  paper and fabric doilies; Bo Bunny and Provo Craft alpha stickers (title); My2angels antique bronze filigree clip butterfly, coral & antique bronze charming bouquet and Silver and GoldAcrylic Cabochons Flowers ; Manor House Creations flowers; Helmar 450 quick dry and scrap dots adhesive; Studio 112 butterflies; Signo gel pen.

Thank you so much for popping by, please have a great weekend!! spot you all again very soon - hearts'n'hugs  xxx Mazz xxx

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
