Smith Family

...dedicated to Clyde (Norman) Smith (January 1939 - April 2011 RIP)....
Smith Family (2005)
For stop#4 (America) in Scrapbooking Top 50 Amazing Race, I decided to create a LO as a tribute to my DH's cousin and friend, the late Norman Smith who was a  US Naval engineer.  Norman sadly passed away in 2011.  This photo was taken in 2005 before Norman's cancer diagnosis.  Norman was always very happy surrounded by his family - his wife and 3 sons. 2 of whom were soldiers in the US Army.

The criteria:
1. Inclue Stars and stripes somewhere on your LO
2. Use the colours Red, White and Blue
3. Include Doodling somewhere your LO
Originally the criteria was a real challenge for me as I dont doodle and I usually dont use the blue, red and white combination. Then the colour-combo grew on me , I've managed to add a little (red, edge) doodling and I'm very pleased with the end result.
Supplies Used:
Bazzill cardstock; Rusty Pickle pps (Rockin' America); Stampendous embossing enamel (shabby white); StampIt clear embossing powder; Versa Colour ink (Indigo); Versamark (dazzle);  Glimmer Mist (sapphire) Perfect Pearls Mist (forever blue); Martha Stewart edge punch; Kaiser and Kaszazz stamps;  my2angels rikrak (red & white); my2angels flag button; my2angels charming angel chainmy2angels charming word charm (family); Scrapbooking Top 50 kit (twine); my2angels metal textured stars (blue & silver); Tombow pens; Helmar adhesives.
Thanks so much for popping over here today - please leave me a comment so I know you have - and remember to watch out for Stop#5  - "viva La France"...due Monday 22nd November.  Have a great week ... hugs'n'hearts - Mazz

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
