Marie MAZZ'S Scrap O'Clock: SUMMER picnic

Going ‘back’ to my old ways…I’ve joined 3 challenges into this 1 layout. Fist up here's the Scrapfriends’March sketch challenge, that my cyber pal Lizzy H recommended:

Secondly, the March theme over at A2Z scraplets is "Summer"...I've used 'summer colours' in addition to the chipboard sun and word "Summer" are from the A2Z scraplets collection.

The sun was inked and “summer” is distress painted.

And certainly not the least challenging was using 'hexagons and stamping' as challenged by the lovely Annette Edmonds over at Orange Paperie (March Madness).

For this LO I used a Crafters Workshop template to cut out the hexagons from scraps from the Kaiser Botanical Odyssey range - left over from a recent class :)

I’ve also used some texture magic to 3d the hexagons at the top, and the word picnic is made from some rubber stamps, distress paint and Glossy Accents.
