Honeymoon in Ohope 1961

Honeymoon in Ohope -1961
I just adore the July 14 Photo Inspiration Challenge over at Scrapping Outback.
The Criteria is to take inspiration from the photo in anyway you choose.
I was inspired by the colours as well as ‘holiday/beach’ theme.  I love that I think this is the perfect picture for this photo challenge after only seen this photo recently – These are my parents’ on their honeymoon near Ohope, September 1961.
Did you notice both are wearing ‘red’ shoes? I don’t remember the ones DD is wearing but I remember quite clearly DM’s red shoes – they must have been quite old by the time they were thrown away LOL

Supplies:
My Minds Eye, SO Prima Marketing pps (Reflections collection) and SO 7 Dots Studio pps (Messy Head –news flash) & alpha (raspberry muffin); Tim Holtz, Heidi Swapp & the Crafter's Workshop stencils; Luster Rub-Ons (Russet); Tim Holtz distress stain (fired brick); Viva Inka-Gold (turquoise & gold); Deep Red stamp (chicken wire); Versa Color (pacific) & Brilliance (cosmic copper) inks; Washi tapes; paper, vinyl & fabric doilies; SO Prima Marketing flowers, packaging (Seashore) & numbers; Dusty Attic c/b (chicken wire panel); Scottie Crafts Abacá fibre; my2angels Charming word (together); Helmar 450 Quick dry glue & scrap dots; Crafter’s choice PVA craft glue; Perfect Pearls Mists (forever blue).
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this challenge, especially the fussy cutting and layering – thanks to Rachelle and the SO Design Team – and I’m especially delighted with the end result of this LO too – a great present for my parents’ 53rd wedding anniversary this September.
TFL all - 'Till next time  xxx hugs ‘n’ hearts xxx Mazz J

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
