Time Goes by...

Scrap Around The World January Inspiration/Mood board

I’ve not entered to a challenge over at Scrap Around The World before…and I just adored their shabby chick” January inspiration/mood board when I saw it over on Lizzy’s blog so I thought I’d give it ago.
I LOVE the green of historic Kaukapakapa <pronounced “cow-copper-copper> in NZ, and I took this photo when we were there a few years ago – oh dear time has quickly passed…it’s already the end of January 2015!!!
I was inspired by the ‘shabbiness’ and the quote which has significant relevance in my own life journey at the moment.
Life Is A Balance Of Holding On And Letting Go. - Keith Urban

It's all about CUPCAKES

Kia Ora (hello) and Happy 2015 everyone!

In keeping with the brightness of Summer – Scrapping Outback’s January ‘white with a twist’ challenge cocktail colours are Raspberry and Lime. Not exactly my usual colour combo but I fell in love with them after creating the first LO...

Plus... It's coincidental that both these LO's are for January White with a Twist challenge over at Scrapping Outback...

First up : SMILE (and the world smiles with you) this photo is of my older granddaughter on her 5th birthday. Actually she's nearly 11 now, and I’ve had this photo in my pile of “to do’s” since.

The gorgeous handmade zipper flower was created by the lovely Jeanelle at TLC crafts and this raspberry one was obviously ‘meant to be’ for this LO.

Supplies used:
Claudine Hellmuth Gesso; Couture Creations double sided tape & 3Dfoam dots; Kaiser printed tape (music); Kaiser rhinestones (dark pink); VersaColor ink (charcoal & magenta) ; Lindy’s Stamp Gang Flat Fabio (Hibiscus rose & Toto’s tornado black); Glimmer Mist (Key lime pie); Manor House Creations flowers; Scrap FX c/b (Smile and the world smiles with you); WOW c/b (music flourish); Mont Marte modelling paste; Tim Holtz mask; Zipper flower; Cupcake dies; Papermania tissue paper (Madame Payraud’s); Helmar quick dry adhesive 450; Perfect pearls mists (interference red);

 AND

Christmas Cupcakes 2009 - These delicious and beautifully decorated cupcakes were baked by my (now) daughter-in- law for our Christmas lunch in 2009.

I've wanted to scrap these photos for a long time - and guess I must have been eager because I've printed the photos at least 3 times lol. You will see that I've fussy cut and inked the cupcakes individually - then used foam dots to 3D.
Supplies used:

I hope you're all having a fabulous New Year - it's gonna be a GREAT year and so many more photos and challenges :)

So, till next time....Hearts 'n' Hugs xxx Mazz xxx

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
