me at 3 - BELIEVE in U

Mazz at 3

Hi everyone, since I finished my DT work early for Scrapping Outback, I decided to have a go at the Lindy’s Stamp Gang (LSG) March Color challenge, for the first time!

Since LSG’s palette coordinates so well with the beautiful Blue Fern Studios Ombre Dreams papers, I decided to have a go at the Blue Fern Studios March Sketch challenge as well J

http://bluefernstudios.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/march-sketch-challenge.html

Inspiration to scrap this photo of myself on my new ‘birthday’ bike age 3yo – came from the children in Lindy’s photo of the children enjoying their ‘birthday’ party.  I've also added 3 words down the bottom right of my LO - These 3 words mean a lot at tie moment, as I'm getting back into job hunting after 12 months 'sabbatical'.

REMEMBER...

G'day! On International Women's Day I thought it fitting that I honour my mum and grandma while having fun myself playing with paper and colour.

SO here's my take on February's 7 Dot Studio "hearts" theme challenge.
 One of the warmest symbols ever – the symbol of love ♥

 The photo is of my mum aged 19 months with my late Grandma. I remember frequent visits as a little girl -  that stunning, sprawling sweet pea in Grandma and Grandad's glorious garden with the delicious pea-pods picked and eaten...not that long ago? LOL
 I’m combing the ♥ theme with the beautiful sketch challenge #46 at Scrap Africa, together with the “Get your Girly on” theme at Southern Girls Challenge.
7 Dots Studio supplies used:
7 Dots Studio # SDCH9009 Soulmates (squares) mask
**NB all 7 Dots Studio products available at my LSS Scrapping Outback***

 Other supplies used: Scrapping Outback Cardstock (white); The Crafters Workshop mask (leaves); Stencil unknown (hearts); Claudine Hellmuth studio multi-medium (matte) & gesso; Faber-Castell glass bead glitter gel; Mont Marte modelling paste; Mists: Dylusions crushed grape, Lindy’s Stamp gang Moon Shadow (smoky sapphire), Tattered Angels GM (Pashmina, Silver & Olive vine);
Paint: Mont Marte Metallic (silver), Lumiere Metallic (pearl violet); Kaisercraft ink (IP724 Bark);
 my2angels stemmed-star flowers & my2angels charming pin;
 Metallic thread, staples, docrafts™ Stick it! glue.

 TFL all and thank you teams at 7 Dots Studio, Scrap Africa and Southern Girls for the exciting challenges - now it's time to enjoy your week xxx hugs 'n' hearts' Mazz

Here's a LO I created recently - using Scrapping Outback's Cocoa Vanilla (sounds like biscuits doesn't it LOL) ....the photo is of (another) sweet 2nd cousin, Eva

The photo was taken when I first met and fell in love with her, during one of my NZ visits.

I just couldn't resist using this photo while playing with these colours within the divine Cocoa Vanilla Studio products here: http://scrappingoutback.com/manufacturers/cocoa-vanilla-studio-papers-embellishments

Supplies used:
Cocoa Vanilla Studio pps (Sugar & Spice Collection - dot to dot, flutter & sweet floral)

Other Supplies:
Gesso, old book and velum leaves, texture paste, Viva Model Crème (Mother of Pearl rose), EK Success edge punch, Shelly’s Land die cuts, my2angels pink bouquet , my2angels follow your heart charm, heart ribbon slide & antique bronze love charm
And my little tips:  Use edge punch on paper instead of ribbon
Great way to use up Washi tape – using colours in the papers

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
