The challenge is to
Create a layout inspired by ALL the colours in these cocktails and you MUST use at least one piece of chipboard.
 You must use WHITE combined with the colours in the picture. You can use printed paper as long as these colours are the main focus of the paper.
There can be other colours on the printed paper, but not too much to take away from the colours in the inspiration picture.
You can use anything to create these colours like mists, inks or paints.
You can use a small amount of black/brown just for a little stamping, inking, journaling or just as a small accessory; however it is NOT to be the main focus of your layout.
You can use as little or a lot of each colour, but every colour or shade of that colour in the picture MUST be used. You can use varied shades of the colours - it depends on the inspiration that you get from the picture.
The LO was also inspired not by my dgs with his stunning blue eyes and his ‘Mohawk’ style (blonde) hair – that (IMHO)happens to look “wildfire” orange in the photo LOL.  I took this photo while celebrating at “Wildfire Restaurant & bar” at my ds’s wedding reception in April. It was a fabulous day with only immediate family. Naturally the bride and groom were beautiful, but that’s a LO for another day !!!.

Supplies used:
Claudine Hellmuth Studio gesso; Dusty Attic c/b (hanging lamp);
Plaid Extreme glitter (turquoise) & Modge Podge;
The Crafters Workshop templates
Manor House Creations romantic frame;
Kaiser scraps (K Bots)
Spotlight iridescent fabric mesh; aluminium mesh; tinsel; orange onion bag;
Kaiser collectables (Attitude);
Ranger Distress Paint (spiced marmalade)
Glimmer Mist (yellow daisy)
VersaColor ink (marigold)
Dusty Attic c/b (hanging sign)
Helmar 450 quick dry adhesive.

She Inspires Love

I have created this LO to showcase some of the latest Prima Marketing and WOW products that are available at Scrapping Outback NOW ;)

I took this photo of my unsuspecting ds at our family Christmas back in 2009.
 The inspiration for the title is based on Angela's gentle personality, and all the love and support she is currently showing to her terminally ill mother-in-law.

Supplies I’ve used

 & Priceless Moments
(Time Traveller Collection) );
Couture Creations double sided tape & mounting taps &

Helmar 450 Quick dry adhesive
Lindy’s Stamp Gang (LSD) Moon Shadow Mist (blue beard blue violet)
The Crafters workshop templates
Viva Inka gold (violet); Words or Whatever (WOW) Mesh border c/b;
Viva Modelling Crème (Mother of Pearl Lilac); VersaColor ink (black); ink
Washi Tape; lace from stash; It’s About Time™ Violet Foil embossing powder
Words or Whatever (WOW) wooden messy star circle
Chalkboard Glimmer Mist (concord)
Home made butterfly (stash), kitchen string, metal charms and filigrees
Prima wood embellishments (free spirit) & flowers (Queen Mary)  &
And here's the whole LO:

Thank you for popping in today.
If you'd like to see from scratch how I created this LO, here's the link (you may need to copy & paste into your browser):

I'm afraid that will be all from me for a few weeks as I really must concentrate on my study assessments and practical components of my Childcare course.

Till next time   xxx Hugs 'n' hearts xxx Mazz xxx

Sparkling Snowflakes

The theme for August/September at Ideal ATC Swap group is "Sparkling Snowflakes".

It's cold today in Beenleigh/Brisbane/all over Queensland...
 Angela (the group co-ordinator) is looking for a winter themed ATC.  It can reflect anything to do with cooler climates, winter in general or even 'cool' colours.  We may interpret this criteria anyway we like but the ATC must include:  Something representing coolness, and Shimmer or sparkles somewhere on the ATC.
Even thought I didn't have to create an ATC with just snowflakes, in fact I didn't have to have any snowflakes on my ATC at all, I decided to go ahead with that idea anyways...

ATC Manilla cardstock; Cuttle Bug & snowflake embossing folder; Viva Modelling Crème (Mother of Pearl); Stampendous (shaved ice); my2angels snowflake charms; my2angels Diamond Dust;  Tattered Angels chalkboard (concord), Perfect Pearls (blue raspberry) and Lindy’s Stamp Gang Moon Shadow Mist (bluebeard blue-violet); Washi tape; vellum; Martha Stewart butterfly punch; Helmar 450 quick dry adhesive.

Thanks for looking today… another LO coming soon …

And find your shoulder to light on,

To bring you luck, happiness and riches

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
