Boy Zone

Boy Zone
G'day one and all....This month's inspiration for the Scrapping Outback White with a Twist challenge is pretty much the colours of the rainbow (except for purple) and I decided the photo of another of my cousins... is happy, cheeky and full of mischief and therefore perfect for this much colour - and plenty of texture to boot LOL
The SO Design Team look forward to your 'have a go' in October, see how many of these colours you can use...

AND the Layout is to be inspired by ALL the colours in this photo prompt above; as usual you need to go HERE to get all the info.
My Supplies:
  • Washi tapes
  • Orange onion bag
Thanks for visiting this month....please feel free to 'have a go' (we love newbies too)
Until later in the month, have a great week and weekend ahead.

Smooch (or should that be Caught?)

Smooch Christmas 2009
Happy Sunday afternoon...

Just in case you're wondering my Mum and Dad don't usually ''smooch'' in public LOL So this occasion was particularly hilarious!!!
Everyone laughed and laughed so heartily... and I can only laugh when I remember...and think how lucky I am that this memory was captured on camera...and now I'm glad to say it's scrapped as well ;)
I've entered September 2015's WW1 challenge again, keeping to the colour 'antique moss' as closely as possible.
I think it's a fairly dull lime colour. You'll see I've used a lot of Resin Rainbow pieces - these were just as fun to use, as the photos

Supplies Used:
Scrapping Outback Cardstock (white)
The Resin Rainbow enamel dots, zentanglesleaves, floral borders, resin roses and small butterfly.

Lindy's Stamp Gang (LSG) starburst mist & embossing powder (Drop Dead Gorgeous Green)
LSG Flat Fabio  (Luscious Lime)
Luster Rub-ons (apple green)
A2Z chipboard title (Smooch)

from stash: white paper and crochet doilies, white flowers and leaves

Thank you so much for popping over to my blog today. I hope you have a great week ahead....looking forward to another exciting month of colours and challenges in October, that I can't believe is only sleeps to go LOL

Everybody LOVES Raymond {the Koala}

Hi there friends,
This month's colours (lime/green with small amounts of lemon & orange!)  over at the Scrapping Outback White With a Twist challenge were definitely a toughie for me; However, once I'd decided to share what I call a 'lucky' day it became easier -  because of Raymond the Koala's blanket colour lol
Raymond is one 'lucky' Koala - weighing just 260 grams when he was found in 2012 abandoned beside a road west of Brisbane, lying to his dead mother. He was taken to a shelter and when we saw him in June 2013, he was having a cuppa with his carer in a local shopping centre.
Here is the link ( ) of some professional photos that are heaps better than my smart phone 'impromptus'
He was just lovely and when I asked the carer how he got his name, she just smiled and said "everybody loves Raymond" .. .makes sense he was so cute holding the teaspoon while he drank his tea LOL
and here's the whole LO :)
until next time.... Mazz xxx

I love to spend time at home in my scrap space and out on our balcony looking towards the glorious Australian bush...I am an obsessive compulsive scrapbooker and scrapbooking products, which I love to share. I also ADORE working with children, love card-making, stamping, collect turtles (not real ones!) postage stamps and postcards,

I love to make people smile...I have a passion for people, especially children, from 'diverse' and multi-cultural backgrounds hence my love of travel and sharing different beliefs and cultures as well. so...

"May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun

And find your shoulder to light on,

To bring you luck, happiness and riches

Today, tomorrow and beyond.

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
