Family LOVE - Scrapping Outback White With a Twist challenge MAY 2016

Family Love
These are the delicious colours of our beverages this month
 ...and sharing another LO I've created for my friend Fiona...I just love this beautiful Prima Papers' "Garden Fable" collection- for the colours, the 'whimsy' feel about it; and naturally the butterflies :)
You may notice, I've toned down the colours with a light spray of Gesso, because of the business of the paper and so the "whanau" (NZ Maori word meaning family) photo is still the focus of the LO.

I do hope you have a go this month in the Scrapping Outback White With a Twist challenge....such fun colours and what a great prize $15.00 to spend at the SO shop :)

Supplies:
Prima Marketing papers (Garden Fable & birdhouse) and  Color Bloom (boysenberry);

my2angels' (silver) love you to infinity key; other: Krylon gesso spray, Martha Stewart edge punch, Helmar 450 quick dry adhesive, chipboard, muslin, mesh

I've had to 'slow' down just a bit I'm afraid, because I'm finally back at full time work during the week. It's been nearly 3 years since I started the sabbatical, having done a full circle of studying, playing and working with children - and now I'm enjoying being back to the same place of work I was back then - at TAFE Queensland (Brisbane), working with teachers and students :)

till next time everyone,

Hugs 'n' hearts xxx Mazz xxx

Enjoy the little things - Scrapping Outback White With a Twist April 2016

Enjoy the little things
Howdy, and welcome to April - Oh my goodness....this year is flying by....and time for YOU to have a go at Scrapping Outback's April White With a Twist challenge too....here's this month's inspiration image:

This photo is of my younger son, just after we arrived in Brisbane in 2002.
Being extremely frugal after our move, we were looking for cheap and free stuff to do on the weekends.  Luckily we came across this nature park at Queens Park in Ipswich, that has a gold coin entry fee. It was great to see the “Ozzie” birds and animals, and of course that brainless scarecrow was fun too.

Supplies

Dusty Attic (chevrons  Enjoy the little things title) and chipboard;

Manor House Creations packaging; Lindy’s Stamp Gang (I’m late, I’m late slate ) and Orange Creamsicle) Flat Fabio Mists;
The Crafters Workshop (chevrons) stencil;
It’s About Time (metallic platinum) embossing powder; Prima flowers; The Resin Rainbow star;

Washi tape; Kaisercraft flower, brad and arrow die cut; Momento ink (London fog); Helmar 450 Quick dry adhesive; recycled onion bag; fibres; muslin; builders mesh

Thanks for looking everyone – have a great month ahead – till next time: Hearts and hugs

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
