Elizabeth

Elizabeth Cairns (nee Monks)
Good evening everyone,

This is my take on the March White With One challenge colour "Lavender Herb"...such a regal and beautiful colour. I decided to scrap this photo that's been waiting for the right colour :)
As the tiny piece of journaling reads "This is my Hubby's 'biological' paternal grandmother. Her name was Elizabeth Cairns (nee Monks) and unfortunately that's all we know about her as at 28March2016".
We got that information from Ian's late father's birth certificate, that I found in our 'safekeeping' place.

Supplies:

Prima Marketing  (Meadow Lark collection) papers;
Resin Rainbow tissue from the March surprise pack (you may be able to see from this photo that I've wet it and scrunched it - for texture and height - and attempted to lightened it with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Mist (frozen jack frost);
Kaisercraft flower, rhinestone, and script stamp;
Prima Marketing flowers and stencil
Twiddleybitz (chandelier) and Scrapware (doily) chipboard
Impressive Stamps Australia clear embossing powder (interference violet foil )
other: c/b alpha title, Viva modellier-crème (mother of pearl), Helmar 450 quick dry adhesive,

Well, that's another month nearly over :(  Thank you for popping in today and I do hope you'll be back again on 1st April for Scrapping Outback's White With a Twist  inspiration - until then...

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
