“It’s the little things”
These beautiful ladies are from Rohingya (aka Myanmar). It’s a country in the north west of Burma. They are refugees under Australia’s Humanitarian Programme studying in the Adult Migrant English Programme (AMEP). The photo was taken at a recent Multicultural festival – and I just ‘had to scrap it’ and this is probably become one of my fave LO’s… They have recently learnt the meaning of ‘thumbs up’ (in Australia). ….”teddy bear’s picnic” April 2008…email received from my DIL says “here the girls are having a teddy bears picnic, they were bored one day so we made lunch lots more fun! shyla loved pretending to feed her dolly but paige enjoyed setting it up more than actually eating!! Haha”…oh and for those who forgot the lyrics LOL here they are:
