This month's challenge over at Scrap The Boys is a "Poster Inspiration"... When i first saw it I thought "vintage" and/or black and white...and here is what I've come up with...

These are my two boys on our wedding day back in 2001. We had a "1920's - Biggles Gets Married" theme wedding.

 Supplies used: Prima Marketing - Engraver collection (paper & wooden clock); Hessian and My2Angels embellishments.

great day out - love that - White With One - February 2020

 

Hi everyone,
Sharing my White With One Layout for February 2020... The colour is Azure blue (with white) + the sketch.

These photos were taken when we visited Cockington Green Gardens in Canberra in January 2003. The gardens were particularly significant to my dlh who loved the windmills in Holland where his mother was born.

The background paper (azure blue) is from Colour Blast Bee Arty - Untangle range (silence). I've also used: Dusty Attic and Scrapmatts chipboard; Azure Stazon Ink and Windmill die cuts.

I've just realised its nearly 2 years since I've Blogged ! OMG!!!  I've blogged because its seems to be a criteria for the January 2020 challenge over at Scrap The Boys - its a mood board challenge.

I've started on (one of my) brother's 50th birthday album and what better place to get inspiration than with Scrap The Boys??? I  love the colours and the stripes as well!

Products used: Cocoa Vanilla Studios paper and star die cuts; Prima Marketing Stencil; Tattered Angels and Lindy's Stamp Gang mists; Stazon ink; Scrapmatts and Dusty Attic chipboard; gesso, stamp and washi tape.

Amazing beauty - Dusty Attic Mood-board challenge May 2018

Ok, so I just might have an an extra  few hours to myself this month LOL.
Today I'm sharing my creation for this month's amazingly beautiful mood-board over at Dusty Attic.

I was first inspired by the gold sandals - I just loved by gold wedding sandals - alas the only photo I have of those is definitely not for publication LOLL...For those of you who know me, my favourite colour is orange, so along with the gold I've used a different shade of orange for my LO. The title is so appropriate for my DS as well as the mood-board.

timeless - Scrap the boys May 2018 challenge

I was inspired by the variety of blues in the mood-board challenge over at Scrap the boys this month.

I've also been keen to get this  photo scrapped for my DD.  The LO includes my DD at his high school reunion. The administration officer at Sacred Heart College sent me the photo saying "it was terrible weather so these are the brave and hardy men who ventured out in the storm" I've left the bottom of the tag unstuck so you can see the names of the "old boys".

The Best Thing About a Photo -May A2Z scraplets challenge

...naturally May is all about the mothers in our lives. This photo is of my late MIL's 80th birthday back in 2009.  I was inspired by the soft teal and rose gold colours.

Shine - A2Z Scraplets February 2018 challenge

I've used the red with a touch of gold colours along with black (the writing in the mood board) because of the photo colours. I've also used the A2Z Scraplets chipboard title "Shine".

A Smile is a memory made visible - White With One Feb 18

This month I've chosen to enter the February White With One  "Sizzling Pink" challenge...utilising this sketch courtesy of Page Maps

You'll see I've pretty much followed the whole of the sketch - including the doily elements.  What a fun colour to play with !! especially since this is my GD and her fave colour (now 13 yo) is still PINK 😍
