Christmas Angels

Christmas Angels - 2007
A few weeks ago Words or Whatever (WOW) announced another 'triple treat challenge' and I sent my SAE straight away to receive my mystery chipboard -
so I could participate in this October challenge.

Oh my goodness the talented DT inspiration over there is AMAZING!
You are allowed to use the chipboard provided in any way you wish and you have to link the LO up on Facebook HEREhttps://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10204868973864161&set=gm.644845268990865&type=3&theater

Hey, SO that I might be selected in the random prize draw for the most Please go HERE to "like" this LO, 'likes'. Thanks kindly In Advance :)

When I saw the Kaisercraft sketch challenge I decided to utilise their sketch as my LO base/inspiration.

I have to admit that this A Touch of Gold Collection from Kaisercraft has to be one of my favourites, hence why I decided to use it for this photo.
This photo of my 2 darling granddaughters was taken for my 2007 Christmas card and I just adore it, and the cherished memories of them being so small and happy together.

As you can see I haven't followed the sketch exactly - because I generally like my photos straight, so they are easier to see, specially in my album or if it's gifted as a wall hanging.

Supplies:
Kaisercraft paint and angels alphas
Stampendous aged scarlet embossing enamel
A Lil Something handmade flower
stash - holographic glitter, vellum, glue and double sided tape

Thanks so much for looking - have a great week ahead - please pop back again - hearts 'n' hugs xxx Mazz xxx

CeLeBrAte

Hi all,

I actually found this month's WW1 challenge colour (Peach Puff)  more difficult than I first thought - I guess that's why they call it a challenge, eh? LOL.
So I decided to create 'backwards' (for me anyways lol) and utilise the October STUCK! sketch challenge first.  - using the peach puff colour, and chose my photo last.
I created the background with the chevron template - can you see how it sparkles? To get this effect, I mixed the glass bead glitter gel with some cinnamon Viva and cantaloupe liquid pearls...

I think this photo was meant to be 'scrapped' now :)

The photo was taken by a colleague at our work Christmas party 2012, loads of fun was had, as you can see, and naturally the next one is not too far away :)

Supplies:
Faber Castell glass bead glitter gel
Viva precious metal colour (cinnamon)
Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst mist (Cocklebells coral).
my2angels' flowers and metal embellishments
Kaiser stencil template (doily), paper (Charlotte's dream collection/vision) and Washi tape
The Resin Rainbow star and doilies
Rusty Pickle and Adornit alphas
chrochet doily, thread, rik-rak
Thanks for popping over today...till next time xxx hugs 'n' hearts xxx Mazz xxx

ps...I'm returning to paid work tomorrow, so I'm not too sure how my time management skills will be after a 2 year sabbatical - hopefully I'll be back blogging before the end of October :)

Boy Zone

Boy Zone
G'day one and all....This month's inspiration for the Scrapping Outback White with a Twist challenge is pretty much the colours of the rainbow (except for purple) and I decided the photo of another of my cousins... is happy, cheeky and full of mischief and therefore perfect for this much colour - and plenty of texture to boot LOL
The SO Design Team look forward to your 'have a go' in October, see how many of these colours you can use...

AND the Layout is to be inspired by ALL the colours in this photo prompt above; as usual you need to go HERE http://scrapping-outback.blogspot.com.au/2015/10/october-2015-white-with-twist-challenge.html to get all the info.
My Supplies:

  • Washi tapes
  • Orange onion bag
Thanks for visiting this month....please feel free to 'have a go' (we love newbies too)
Until later in the month, have a great week and weekend ahead.

hug's n' hearts xxx Mazz xxx

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
