I actually found this month's WW1 challenge colour (Peach Puff) more difficult than I first thought - I guess that's why they call it a challenge, eh? LOL.
So I decided to create 'backwards' (for me anyways lol) and utilise the October STUCK! sketch challenge first. - using the peach puff colour, and chose my photo last.
I created the background with the chevron template - can you see how it sparkles? To get this effect, I mixed the glass bead glitter gel with some cinnamon Viva and cantaloupe liquid pearls...
I think this photo was meant to be 'scrapped' now :)
The photo was taken by a colleague at our work Christmas party 2012, loads of fun was had, as you can see, and naturally the next one is not too far away :)
Supplies:
Faber Castell glass bead glitter gel
Viva precious metal colour (cinnamon)
The Crafter's Workshop template (chevrons)
The Resin Rainbow star and doilies
chrochet doily, thread, rik-rak
Thanks for popping over today...till next time xxx hugs 'n' hearts xxx Mazz xxx
ps...I'm returning to paid work tomorrow, so I'm not too sure how my time management skills will be after a 2 year sabbatical - hopefully I'll be back blogging before the end of October :)
