(aka Biggles) |
I do believe the title speaks for itself…I’ve been wanting to scrap some more of our wedding pages, and have taken this opportunity by entering the “SCRAPLIFT” (aka copy LOL) challenge set by Rachelle Minett, scrapbooking ‘master’ and owner of Scrapping Outback.
Here’s the stunning LO that that we’ve been challenged to “Lift".
Naturally, I'm unable to copy exactly Rachelle's exquisite, talented stsyle.
I've used 'other peoples candid' shots from our wedding just over 10 years ago to take a crack at conveying the “Biggles Gets Married” theme wedding…
the feathers are supposed to mimic the handle-bar moustache DH grew for a year before the wedding and of course the chipboard airplane to imitate the 1932 de-Havilland Dragon bi-plane, which DH flew in.
Well, when I showed DH the finished LO, he just smiled at me challenged me to create on of the “bride” lol…I guess I will have to attempt that next…watch this space…J
Supplies used: Pps & card stock –unknown; Mask, Distress stain and Glimmer mist – Tim Holtz; tissue flowers – A Lil’ Something; chipboard bi-plane – A2Z scraplets; coloured & felt leaves, branch – Prima; lace; feathers; hessian flowers – I made these in workshop with talented Tina J
I’m off to bed now, after a great weekend scrapping, gardening and last night’s 21st party for DS’s mates. {huge hugs’n’hearts} Mazz xxx
