Feeling GROOVY |
I have finally finished something that I can pop onto the blog to share ....
These are the ATC's that I've created for the Ideal Swap Group for the April/May 2014 swap. The theme is "It's my birthday" with criteria set at creating a background for the ATC and something that represents the year you were born.
Since I was born during the 1960's, you will see that I've elected to go a bit "retro' using 1960's colours - purple, lime green and orange. I created the 'retro' flower background using a gorgeous stencil by Claudine Hellmuth. In case you cant read the my2angels heart charm it says "You Rock and Roll" which I think is quite appropriate.
Even though I honestly didn't start out with any mojo, I eventually was inspired by the song "Feeling Groovy" (1966) by Simon and Garfunkel and I'm delighted with the final result.
Supplies:
Ranger Kraft ATC's; Claudine Hellmuth Wallflower stencil; Autumn Leaves clear stamp; Viva Model crème - mother of pearl rose; Washi tapes; home-made orange mist; Zing embossing powder; Plaid Dimensional Magic; my2angels leaves and Rock and roll hearts; acetate; circle punch.
Thanks so much for popping over, I have loads of unfinished creations that I'm hoping to get working on and finishing to share ... watch this space!! have a great week. Hearts and Hugs
