IN MY HUMBLE OPINION...I believe 'excuses' are based on priorities...If I make an excuse it usually means I have other (personal) priorities...so it usually means I'd rather be spending my time on 'something else' so if i say already have other plans or I've had my mind on 'other things' eg work (and yes the excuse for no scrapping the last fortnight has been exactly that LOL" ...it USUALLY means...I'd rather be working (e.g. getting my new business up and running), or i'd rather go somewhere else, or even be with someone else OR maybe I just make excuses because I'd rather not let you down or say the wrong thing...I love this quote actually..."The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right place but to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment"-Dorothy Nevill, just saying that's all...ok...so I'm stirring the pot LOL..TFL...I'd LOVE you to leave your comment here (just click on Post a Comment - have a great week everyone.

oh you have hit the nail on the head! Mazz your a true doll! i love the qoute and totally understand, we all too often as mothers/women care and give and leave not much for ourselves as in time to rest or enjoy, but it shows your true nature when even you are trying to give yourself the time and delights you need you don't hurt anyone or make them feel less important, Life is busy for all of us so take the time you need for what you think is important, like a good cuddle and a great laugh! *Hugs* Mazz your a star! Hope your getting all the lose ends tied up for your little Munchkins :D
