...Here's my latest LO, of my favourite childhood memory, that I have created for 2 challenges:

  2. Challenge # 9 over at The Southern Girls Challenge blog (anything goes)

The journalling reads: "Even then when I was just 4 yrs old I blinked a the camera flash! It always did take the photographers a huge effort to take a decent picture of me! This one is taken in 1967 when I was a flower girl for Malcolm & Carol Frith. (Malcolm is my second cousin) and I remember parts of the day quite well - then I had to carry the train of Carol's dress and having to leave the party early because I was too 'young'!! I also remember my dress and the flower basket - which Mum kept for ages at home on the piano (or was it the fridge?) This photo was taken at my (late) Great Uncle's place in Mission Bay. I still remember the huge flower garden there!! This is a fantastic childhood memory ~ journalled 01/01/2011"  I really wanted this to be a feminine LO, hence the lighter colours. I made the flower on the top left of the LO - with Making Memories ribbon and an old brooch; The chippie I painted in white and used chalk ink around the edges then rubbed over with Christalina.  Other supplies used: Prima pps, butterfly and flowers; Spotlight & Kaisercraft pearls; Scrapware butterfly Chipboard; Kindy Glitz; Colorbox ink; paper doily, lace, and vintage 'girl' doily all from stash, unknown.  Have a great week everyone, hugs from ME xx

Lovely is just too insufficient a word to describe your layout.

She reminds me of some Jane Austen heroine with the georgian style white dress. And the crochet one you added is just darling !

My fairy

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
