..."Adore"... |
...Tonight I really just wanted to share two Lo's that I have managed to fit in over the last month or so, that I created at
Geli's classes....oh yes I have been very fortunate that I didnt have to pay for them - due to some very lovely, generous people out there - playing it forward xxx

"Dorrigo" |
First up is "Dorrigo" which is where DH & I spent our Christmas 2011...the most amazing place on earth.
Dorrigo National Park (hinterland near Coffs Harbour, NSW) has the most picturesque, breathtaking waterfalls, bush walks and views...you have to watch out for the leeches though !! they kind of 'sneak' up on you when you're least expecting them (that's a story and Lo for another day) LOL. I would also mention here that I used is Echo Park "trick or treat", which just goes to show that you dont have to use pp for the intended theme :)
If you click
HERE you will be able to see Geli's class example that inspired my LO.
The best part was using the texture paste - can you see the little birds on leaves in mine? You can see the flower - made from coloured twill and MME brad. There's paper 'rolling' and the baker's twine from
My2Angels.
And then there's my favourite LO for June...."Adore" showing off my older precious grandaughter adoring my gorgeous grandson. ( I know biased Nana LOL)
I just love the "Sweet Nothings" Kaiser pp and the way the Martha Stewart laatice-heart punch (for the girly) and the gold cogs (for the boy) all co-ordinate for the 'sweetness' of the LO. The part I loved most about the class was using the oven-baked clay mold - coloured with glimmer mist -
you can see the little flower (corner of the right hand side of the paper rolling) and the wee frame (that I have adhered to the gold charm).
You can of course see Geli's "Gorgeousity" LO if you click right
HERE.
If you're lovin' what you see and you'd like to learn how, just contact Geli via here blog and give it a go!! you'll always wonder why you didnt if you dont LOL .
BTW I started a 3 week contract today working on the Gold Coast - this is my first lot of 'real' work since December and so far I'm enjoying this little bit of independence again...and of course hopefully catch up on some bills...Hugs'n'hearts till next time Mazz xxx
