Antarctic Centre - Stop#3

Gidday on this Public Holiday, Labour Day here in most states of Australia...today is the deadline for Stop#3 over at the Top50 Australia Amazing Race...so here's my version of the criteria for my ANTARCTICA stop:
1. White space (as much as my style allows anyways lol) ;

2. Cool colour scheme (blue, white and blue-green):

3. Texture - be it texture paste, crackle medium, scrunched pp etc. For my blue 'fence' shape I've used a mixture of texture paste, gesso and paint and naturally the gears and cogs :) I've also used a chipboard technique taught by my amazingly talented friend Jules over at Scrapping Outback, which you can see HERE.

I took the photo (of now DH) while on a 'mystery weekend' back in 1997 - at the Antarctic Centre in Christchurch, NZ....this challenge was such  fabulous timing, and great excuse to scrap this memory of the fun time we had as 'tourists' over mini holiday.

White CoOrdinations cardstock (snowflake); Bo-Bunny pps (Midnight Frost); SEI Chipboard (circle); Tim Holtz Findings (metal cogs and gears); Kaiser Clear stamp (Explore); Crafter's Workshop Template Chicken Wire (reverse); Glimmer Mist (Juniper & Glacier); White Gesso; Derivan Matisse Impasto Medium; Jo Sonja's paint (Ultramarine Blue Deep); Perfect Pearls Mists (forever blue); VersaMark Dazzle (frost); Momento ink (Paris Dusk); blue and clear Utee; Amazing Race Kit (compass charm and blue/green twine); Pink Paislee stamp (Butterfly Garden); Creating Keepsakes Alphabitties alpha stickers; Signo gel pen (blue) Helmar adhesives.

The next challenge is another 'detour' at a mystery stop (oh I wonder where I will go?)...and I'm endeavouring to have it posted here by the deadline on Monday 8th October.
