G'day all...my apologies for being MIA recently, I've had lots going on lately and simply haven't had the time to get my blog up to date, so today I'm sharing TWO creations.
First up Scrapping Outback's October Challenge is to Scraplift with the criteria being to have stamping and ribbon...here's Julie Hill's beautiful creation:
Here's my take...Ah yes, yours truly with two adorable grand daughters on Santa's knee - Christmas 2012 (they say you're NEVER too old for sitting on Santa's knee lol)
The stamping is down the bottom right of the LO and hopefully you can spot the organza (white) ribbon across the top of the LO.
My circle interpretation is a plastic doily that I found in a cheap shop.
For this LO I wanted to portray just HOW HAPPY these girls make me - hence the sub-title.
The white flowers are from Prima and the centres are creamy latte sugar beads over at my2angels.
For the chipboard title (Sweet) from Scrapping Outback, I've used Jules' Perfect Pearls technique again I must say I'm really happy with the Perfect Pearls Mist too.
The hearts, butterflies and arrow are fussy cut from the pp.
SECOND share is my tags created for the "Victorian Lady" swap...and to make these 'unique' I've used mini photos of my late (maternal) great Grandma.
Supplies used:
Inkssentials craft tags; Distress stain (vintage photo); Top Boss tinted embossing stamp pad; stamps, muslin; Adirondack embossing powder (cranberry); pink Washi tape; Ranger Archival ink (sepia); StazOn ink (rusty brown); Perfect Pearls Mists (bronze); Glimmer Mist (vintage pink); Distress ink (Victorian velvet); acrylic flower (pink); pink & brown twine; liquid pearls (gold pearl); Helmar adhesives.
Thanks so much for popping over today...have a great week ahead, and hopefully I'll be sharing again soon Hearts 'n' hugs xxx Mazz xxx

My fairy
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblinglitter
She is a bringer of riches and wealth.
She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows.
She is only seen in the light of a shooting star.
She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
