HAPPY 2012 everyone!!!! AND it’s a beautiful sunny day here in Brisbane too…DH has gone off to the flying field on the Gold Coast and I’m just ‘pottering’ trying to finish up my de-cluttering in preparation for the new year, getting housework up to date and then getting a start on 2012 J I do hope everyone is looking forward to the best year ever!! My motto today is “new year, new start”…I’m going to start my new year by attempting to update and keep this blog up to date…along with quite a few other ‘fresh beginnings’ ‘due’ in 2012…
Today I thought I’d start by sharing TWO layouts I created over my holiday break, using one of the Scrapping Outback kits made up by Rachelle.
Included in the kit were Teresa Collins pps, chipboard title (not used), dies, card stock, ribbons, Prima leaves, flowers, black pearls and the beautiful window box. I have added my own (American Crafts) title, Kaiser alphas and rub-ons; I’ve masked using Tim’s Glimmer Mist, stamps and the gorgeous Martha Stewart edge punches.
Both photos were taken at the Lighthouse in Byron Bay (N.S.W.)…we love driving for day visits there – we love the culture and the food, as well as the weather and the amazing beach, bush and surrounds.
I’ve created both pages using Rachelle’s breathtaking examples (no instructions mind you LOL) and I’m thoroughly happy with the results…
Thanks so much for looking. Hearts ‘n’ hugs… Mazz xxx
