The photo is of my beautiful younger DGD just after she was born |
I've created this for the current Twiddleybitz
May Sketch challenge and The
Boxx FORTNIGHTLY Challenge: 25th April ~ 8th May
I actually was challenged by a colour palette on another site to use only white, red and black and decided these photos looked gorgeous just with those colours.
The Twiddleybitz sketch challenge includes additional criteria : You must use the colour RED
and TWO pieces of Twiddleybitz.
I've used the TwiddleyBitz CH001 Chandelier Hanging and one of the BUT003 Assorted Butterflies.
The embossing powder on the chandelier is 'opalescent' with the intention of mimiking beautiful bright lights.
I've used Silver Holographic glitter to enhance the butterfly chippie.
The Boxx has a recipe challenge this fortnight:
1 chipboard element (not alphabet) {twiddley}
2 word title {heaven sent}
the colour RED {check}
hand journaling {check}
something hand cut {the branch and birdcage}
3 flowers {check}
Supplies used:
Bazzill Basics edge cardstock strip (white); Mulberry (black) and Bo Bunny pps (Crush); Twiddleybitz c/b; Kaszazz ribbon; My2Angels charms; Silver Holographic laser cut glitter; Rocket red Brilliance & Charcoal VersaColor Ink; Top Boss embossing powder (opalescent); Stampendous PEARLustre Garnet Utee; muslin, pearl/flowers, journal die cut and pp doily unknown; Helmar adhesives.
...did you notice the piece of c/b chain cut out of the chandalier too?... |
Well, that's my first challenge for May - I hope to have more for you next week...however, I've had a bit of a 'cold' for a few days, so have been taking it easy...In addition I'm spending more time assignments over at Heartistry. Thanks so much for popping over, please remember to leave a comment so I know you've been. Have a great week {hugs'n'hearts} Mazz xxx
